IT IS ASEXUAL VISIBILITY WEEK
THE A IN LGBTQIA+ DOES NOT ACTUALLY STAND FOR ALLY

thank you and goodbye
So I had the pleasure to see the new Carrie movie tonight and I absolutely loved it.
However I know that a lot of people on tumblr have a few trigger warnings and this movie does have one big one!
There is about 4-6 self harm scenes. Not hinted at, but explicitly showed.
If you’re sensitive to this please take caution when seeing this movie!
Please spread this around so others can be warned!!!
This has been a PSA thank u
By the age of 13, 53% of girls say they are unhappy with their bodies. So when were we happy? To find out, Marie C. photographed and interviewed girls from 4 to 8 years old and asked them what they like about their bodies.
I really like that multiple girls talked about the functionality of their bodies—“I like my eyes because they help me see things,” “I like my legs because I run fast,” etc. (Also, note: I rewrote the caption because the original was confusing.)

I’m doing a census on this ongoing argument please help it’s obviously important.
This video deserves its own thread because it’s that important.
If you are not driving or operating heavy machinery, you need to look at this NOW. Like, right now.
This is why media representation matters. This is why all the POCs in just about every story being evil, dead, stupid, or non-existent is harmful.
Watch this right fucking now.
ETA: I hope people of color are not the only ones liking and reblogging this.
